In 2002 Rikki made a dramatic decision to change gender, a decision that almost ended her speaking career. With few prepared to book a trans woman to speak on her topics of sales, marketing and she set about transforming her expertise. She completed a Masters Degree in Gender Research, became very active in the Public and Third sectors and is now recognised as a leading expert in equality and diversity, especially Transgender issues.
Rikki is an expert in speaking and presentation skills, often coaching professional speakers, senior executives and community leaders. She trained as an actor and has a number of professional qualifications in speaking and performance and was twice voted speech evaluation champion for Toastmasters International.
Social/Volunteer Organizations
In 1999 Rikki was the founder and first president of the PSA and in recognition of her contribution to the speaking industry became the first Honorary Fellow in 2008.
Today she still plays an active role in the local community in the Hull, the Humber sub region, at a regional level in Yorkshire and has extensive national and international network connections. She currently serves on the following boards and national committees.

Rikki started her speaking career in the seventies in financial services where she became one of the leading UK speakers on sales and marketing and a regular speaker at the Life Insurance Association Convention which played a major role in the development of the UK speaking industry.
In the eighties she helped re-establish the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management speaking at all regional meetings and keynoting its first sales convention. Throughout the nineties Rikki became a technology expert promoting the use of the internet through the Exchange technology roadshows, attracting over 5000 delegates every year.
