Here's what past participants of Dan and Mindy's events have to say:

"This workshop will enable me to write an even better book than I thought I could. I got lots of great ideas both from Mindy and from the other participants. I had already been working on my book idea when I attended Mindy's workshop, but I'd become stuck. Mindy's "Write Now!" workshop does just what she said it would. She guaranteed I'd come away with the energy to get started and I have. I got great ideas for my book and I came away with a plan for completing it. Now I'm motivated and writing again. Fantastic!" - B. Barrow, Swindon UK

"Dan is extremely generous with his time and the information he shares with his students, fellow authors and potential writers." - Alan Rothman, Sparetime Magazine

"Mindy is my book coach, and I can honestly say that my book has twice the quality and authenticity of it might have been because she was involved. One of the most optimistic and connected women I know, she is brilliant to work with and the only person in the world I recommend in this field. If there's a book in anyone, Mindy will bring it out!"- Rob Brown, Professional Speaker, Consultant and author of How to Build Your Reputation

"Mindy hits the ground running and takes us along for a ride fuelled with easy, affable energy and very savvy insights. This was packed with tools and tips for getting on track. Worthwhile, delightful, very productive."- D. Theodores, London

"Dan untiringly offers up more of his expertise and experience to the army of nonfiction warriors." - Raleigh Pinskey, author of 101 Ways to Promote Yourself and You Can Hype Anything

"You've given me a plan; you've given me my confidence back; and you've given me focus. Without either of these, I was heading toward failure."- Max Eames, author of Wealth Mechanic

"Fantastic inspirational day. Loved the energy generated by Mindy. I have been stopping myself for 10 years. I now have a blueprint for writing with confidence. Let my voice be heard!" - R. Riley, London

"One essential ingredient to our Chicken Soup Success was consulting with Dan Poynter in the early stages." - Jack Canfield, coauthor, Chicken Soup for the Soul series

"A great way to quickly familiarise yourself with the do's and don'ts when thinking about writing a book. Clear and concise information to get your pen finally to paper."- R. Sidhu, Berkshire UK

"More than seven million copies of our vinegar book have been sold and we couldn't have done it without Dan Poynter's help, advice and encouragement." - Patricia Bragg, ND, PH.D., Health-Science, Inc.

"Engaging, never boring. Full of ideas and direction for writing and publishing. Very much a 'can do' approach." - A. Viola, London

"I'd trust Dan's word, recommendations and predictions over just about any publisher, editor, agent or book marketing consultant I've met—and I've met the 'supposed' best." - Jay Abraham, Getting Everything You Can out of All You've Got

"Thank you for your expertise and enthusiasm! I absolutely loved the 'Write Now!' workshop. It gave me exactly what I needed to re-ignite my book project." - N. Van de Veer, Utrecht, NL

"For nonfiction, Dan Poynter is the top coach for writing, publishing and, most important, promoting." - John Tullius, Founder and Director, Maui Writers Conference

"Extremely inspiring and informative. I love the idea of finding our authentic book, the best we can write. Mindy's coaching makes finding your unique book and getting it written and launched out into the world real and tangible. I came away with a whole host of new possibilities." - D. Reeds, Bangkok

"Thank you for the workshop yesterday, it really met my objectives and was fun too (as well as drawing out some deep thinking and a bit of creativity)" - S. Dickinson, London

Convention

Posted By Elaine Anne Hanzak, 04 July 2008
If you are wondering about going to the convention, wonder no more! Just book it!

I went to my first international convention held at a hotel at Heathrow airport last November. I too had debated was the cost, time and effort worth it. I did the Derek Arden 'scratch of the head, sharp intake of breath' bit thinking about the cost.

But I decided that if I was serious about becoming a really professional speaker, then it was worth the risk.

Within the first few presentations I realised for the first time what I could aspire to (and not envy, as Clive Gott would say).  Wow!

The networking was incredible and applying techniques learnt from Will Kintish I made the most of it and not only made connections across the UK but across the world.

Chatting to Mitchell from the USA alone was an incredible experience and we came up with a brilliant intro line for me. That has been worth the registration fee alone.

In addition by meeting members from across the UK I was invited to speak at East and NE chapters and finally tuned my presentation to reach full membership level. The feedback I got built my confidence and along with learning the art of negotiation of fees I can honestly say that the cost was worth far more than money.

Get the most out of your membership by getting out there! We all have much to learn and to offer one another. I was given a tip to look at UKTI Passport to Export scheme. That is how I have got the funds to go to NSA in New York!

Where there is a Will (Kintish or otherwise!) there is a way.  But it takes effort!

Now go and book!!!

Four months and counting...!

Posted By Graham Jones, 03 July 2008
There are just four months to go before our next Convention. Have you booked yet?

We believe this will be the biggest and best Convention ever and we have a few surprises in store, as well as the usual action-packed, learning centred event.

This year there are also some innovations.

There will be a special structure networking session, allowing you to spend time with fellow speakers discussing work opportunities together. Then we have the "12 Wise Speakers" session where a dozen of the top speakers will give you their "golden nuggets" of how to make it to the pinnacle of our profession.

Plus, this year, for the first time, the Sunday morning will not be an "extra" session - but forms part of the Convention itself.

So book NOW if you want to be sure of getting a place at this year's Convention.
